Cheltenham Town Community Trust celebrate a decade of success in the local area

28 September 2018

Last week, the Cheltenham Town Community Trust held a celebration event with organisations and club partners to celebrate their 10th year in operation.

The event was an opportunity for the Trust to officially thank everyone both past and present for the magnificent support shown to the Trust over the last 10 years.

The day was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the very successful Premier League Primary Stars programme supported by children from Gardners Lane Primary School.

The programme is being delivered to primary schools across Gloucestershire, giving those present the chnce to experience first-hand the great work the football club is undertaking within the local community and across the County of Gloucestershire.

There was also an opportunity to meet the community team and trustees, club staff members and directors, new first team manager and the Trust's player ambassadors.

As the official charity partner of Cheltenham Town Football Club, the Community Trust engages thousands of families, children and young people every year with the aim to provide a positive impact on people’s lives through sporting activities, health related programmes, post 16 education and inclusive sport.

“Ten years is an incredible achievement for everyone involved with the Trust both past and present," said Trust Director and CEO  Simon Perruzza.

"I have been with the Trust from the very beginning and feel so proud and delighted to be a part of something that makes such a difference to people’s lives.

"We have a fantastic team who all play a very important part in ensuring the success of the projects we deliver and making everyone’s aspirations and dreams come to life.”
