Cheltenham Town Football Club are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of supporter, sponsor and good friend Chris Stock.

Chris (pictured left with Matt Magovern and John Finnigan) was the Managing Director at Finnick Group, who sadly passed away on Sunday, September 23 after a short but mighty battle with pancreatic cancer.

The company, based in Elmstone Hardwicke, work with the club to produce our matchday programme, leaflets and posters.

Chris was a much-loved husband to Zoe and a great father to his two children, Abi and Harry. He was a popular character in the community and will be hugely missed by so many people.

We’d like to thank Chris for his friendship, professionalism and support for the club, and pass on our thoughts to his family at this difficult time.

"Everyone at the club are very sad to hear the news of Chris’s passing," said Commercial Manager John Finnigan.

"Our sincere condolences go out to all of Chris’s family and friends.

"Typecraft have been fantastic supporters and sponsors of ours for a number of years.

"Chris had a great passion for sport in the local area. He was a lovely man and he will be sorely missed by many people."

Details of his funeral and celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
