Cheltenham Town Community Trust were special guests today at Lakeside Primary School to help promote nutrition, wellbeing and physical education as part of the Premier League Primary Stars project.
Ryan Godwin, Premier League Primary Stars Coordinator, said: “The response from these visits are really good, the kids really enjoy it as it’s not a usual day at school”.
“We started the day by running a Super Movers assembly and then moving on to a nutrition workshop and then finally delivering practical activities outside”.
“At the end of the day, all of the children will receive free tickets for the game against Mansfield on the 3rd November and we hope to see as many students at the game as possible”.
The Community Trust saw over 300 children and each student received free tickets as part of the club’s initiative to get 5,000 school children through the gates at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
