Cheltenham Town’s Under-18s will play Gillingham in round two of the FA Youth Cup on Wednesday 14th of November (7pm kick-off) at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
The young Robins have been rewarded with a tie against the side from Kent after an impressive first round victory at local rivals Forest Green Rovers.
Two goals from Aaron Basford and another from Will Dawes handed Pete Haynes’ side a 3-1 victory in Nailsworth and puts them one round away from a potential tie against Premier League opponents.
First team boss Michael Duff and his backroom staff were in attendance at the New Lawn to see the Under-18s produce a fine attacking and energetic display as they deservedly set up a tie against the Gills.
The Main Stand, Paddock and a section of the Hazelwoods Stand will be open to supporters on the night.

Academy players will be offered free admission if accompanied by a paying adult.
