Kelsey Mooney believes Cheltenham’s recent unbeaten run of form is helping to build confidence in the camp before Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two clash at Notts County.
The Aston Villa loanee spoke to the press on Thursday morning as preparations continue leading up to this weekend’s contest at Meadow Lane.
He has found the net twice for the club since joining on loan, in wins over Northampton Town and Arsenal under-21s, and has started all four of the Robins games in the club’s unbeaten run.
“Over the last few games we’ve got something to build on,” he said. “We’re unbeaten in our last few games and got a good few clean sheets and we’re looking forward to the weekend and looking to get something out of the game.
“We haven’t got three points in a while but once we get that it’ll lift the camp massively and it’ll be something to build on.
“Over the last few games and from the outside I think you can tell that performances are better. We’ve found a shape that suits us and I think it is only a matter of time before everything clicks.”
