Preview: Duff on Notts County trip

15 November 2018

Having guided his side through a four match unbeaten run, Michael Duff is looking for his team to show the right mentality when the Robins visit Notts County this weekend.

It's a 22nd against 23rd clash at Meadow Lane and sees Cheltenham return to Sky Bet League Two action for the first time since a 2-2 home draw with Mansfield Town at the start of the month.

Duff spoke to the media on Thursday morning at the Energy Check Training Ground ahead of this weekend's fixture.

"It's an important game, as are all of them," he said. "We need to pick up points in the league quite obviously. We'll be looking to go and deliver a performance and get the result with that.

"They've sacked their manager and had a good result last night. We think we know how they play - obviously they could change but luckily they played Doncaster so I'll be on the phone to Grant McCann later on to find out a few things and I went to watch them last week.

"We can only prepare as we always prepare, but it's up to us really, we need to turn up. It's no point looking at other people, if we don't turn up we won't get anything."
