Preview: Clements looks ahead to Bury

27 November 2018

Chris Clements is hoping that ever growing confidence in the Cheltenham Town changing room will help the Robins when they take on Bury this evening.

The latest in a busy run of fixtures sees Michael Duff's charges head north to Bury's Energy Check Stadium at Gigg Lane tonight.

Clements, who has featured regularly of late in midfield, has noted how happy the camp is before a tough outing, with the Robins eye-catching form and performances leading to plenty of confidence ahead of kick-off.

He told the media at Monday's press conference: "I think we're playing to a good standard at the minute. Everybody is pulling together, doing things for each other, and it helps the camp out massively.

"The more wins you get the more confidence you get, but we're going into every game wanting three points. Every game that comes we try to play to the best of our ability and hopefully the points come.

"They are a very good team in good form themselves, but we've just got to believe in what we're doing, what the gaffer is instructing us to do. It's a tough place to go to but we've got to play well again and hopefully get something there."

Check out our match pack ahead of tonight's game, which kicks off at 7.45pm.
