Duff: We haven't become a bad team overnight

27 November 2018

Boss Michael Duff doesn't believe his side have become a bad team overnight after defeat by Bury this evening.

His side's unbeaten seven-match unbeaten run came to an end at Gigg Lane after the 4-1 defeat despite Chris Clements' 25th minute equaliser.

"They weren't good and we weren't bad," he told the media afterwards.

"I said earlier in the week that they were the best team in the league and I think they showed that tonight.

"I was disappointed with the goals we gave away but I have no qualms about the result tonight. They were better than us.

"The players are still learning this formation. They used it better than us and they were clinical on the night. They took their goals excellently in the second half."
