Midfielder Jacob Maddox has been named as the Autovillage Player of the Month for October with 67% of the vote.
Every month supporters are given the opportunity to vote online via a poll for which player has impressed them the most from the previous month.
October’s winner Maddox played in all six matches during that period, standing out in the Gloucestershire derby draw at Forest Green Rovers before netting his first two senior goals in the Checkatrade Trophy at the end of the month.
The 20-year-old scored twice in the second half during a 6-2 victory over Arsenal Under-21s at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium, going on to thrive in a central role thereafter.
He was presented with his award at Autovillage Gotherington after training – as our close friends at Autovillage continue to sponsor the Player of the Month award for a second season running.
