Loan stars Joe Rodon and Joe Morrell both impressed as Wales Under-21s were edged out 1-0 by Bosnia and Herzegovina in a European Championship qualifier in Zenica on Friday afternoon.
The game went ahead, despite cold conditions and heavy snow, and both Cheltenham Town loan aces featured from the start.
Defender Rodon - on loan at the Robins from Swansea City - was handed the captain's armband while Morrell - on loan from Bristol City - was deployed on the left side of midfield.
Morrell played 63 minutes of the game that was settled by a long range Darko Todorovic strike. Rodon played the entire game.
The call-up will mean both players will miss the Sky Bet League Two fixture at Crawley Town tomorrow (Saturday) as they fly back from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
