Celebrities shine in big charity match at Robins

25 March 2018

A host of celebrities appeared at the home of the Robins in a special charity match aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance (MAA) and the British Heart Foundation (BHF) on Sunday afternoon.

The match – organised by Sellebrity Soccer – saw two teams managed by Katie Price and Kerry Katona play in front of a crowd of over 1,500 in spring sunshine.

Club legends Steve Book, Mike Duff, John Finnigan, Grant McCann and Neil Grayson were all back in action too.

And it was Grayson that gave team BHF the first half lead before rapper and TV personality MC Harvey equalised for the MAA.

MC Harvey scored again after the break and Jonathan Lewis, Theo Campbell added to the BHF lead before Matt Cook and Love Island star Chris Hughes pulled goals back.

MC Harvey completed his hat-trick before TOWIE’s Liam Gatsby scored late on as the MAA ran our 5-4 winners.

Thank you to everyone who supported the day!
