Robins Trust Event: A Step too VAR

19 June 2018

Following on from last year's successful event, the Robins Trust have once again invited former Premier League referee Chris Foy to a Question and Answer session with Cheltenham Town supporters.

Chris Foy spent 14 years as a Premier League official and took charge of more than 500 professional games.  The former Fifa elite list official is now working as head of community engagement with the Professional Game Match Officials.

Last season's wide ranging and highly informative Q and A covered such topics as referee performance, player simulation and the behaviour of bench staff. This year Chris returns to discuss, among other things, the advent of VAR and the World Cup in Russia.

Don't miss this opportunity to gain real insights from an expert on refereeing - a must for any football enthusiast.

The event will take place on Tuesday 19 June in the Victory Bar at Cheltenham Town Football Club. Start time is 7pm (doors will open at 6.45pm) and entrance is free for current Robins Trust members. The cost for non-members is £5 but this figure will also cover Robins Trust membership for the 2018-19 season.

The Robins Trust would like to obtain an idea on likely numbers attending so have asked if all those intending to come could please contact Nathan Mattick either by Twitter direct message to @NathanMattick8 or by email to njmattick@blueyonder.co.uk.
