Sean Long and Ben Tozer joined a World Cup winner to help officially open a new multi-use games area (MUGA) on Hesters Way on Friday afternoon.
The Robins duo helped cut the ribbon with 1966 World Cup winner Geoff Hurst at the opening ceremony at Hesters Way Community Centre on Cassin Drive in Cheltenham.
The MUGA was completed in June and is a free to use facility for the local community, with sports coaching sessions being run for young people throughout the summer holidays.
