New defender Joe Rodon has vowed to take his opportunity to shine at Cheltenham after signing for the Robins on loan.
Rodon has spent his entire career at Premier League side Swansea, having joined as an eight-year-old.
But the highly-rated 20-year-old, who has played for Wales Under-21s, has now been loaned out to the Robins for the rest of the season and is eager to impress.
“It’s a big opportunity for me and I’m very excited to be here," he said. “It is my first loan so I just want to do the best I can and push on.
“I have been at Swansea for 12 years now so it’s always been Swansea for me. It’s nice to get out, have a new challenge and experience the Football League.
“The boys have been brilliant with me on my first day and I played against them at the start of the season. It was a really close game and that attracted me to this club.
“The gaffer wants to get me involved as much as possible. Hopefully I can help the boys finish the season off as strongly as possible.”
