Community: EFL Trust Cup Updates

23 January 2018

The Community Trust ran their annual English Football League Trust (EFLT) Under-11s Kids Cup in memory of Rob Cruse on January 16.

The six schools that entered this year were: Longlevens Junior School, Naunton Park Primary School, Bishop’s Cleeve Primary Academy, St James’ Primary School, The Catholic School of St. Gregory the Great and Churchdown Village Primary School.

Excellent football was played by all the schools and brilliant sportsmanship was shown all day.

The winners of the tournament were Longlevens Junior School and the runners-up were Bishop’s Cleeve Primary Academy after a very exciting final.

Longlevens Junior School had the Rob Cruse Cup presented to them by Rob’s nephew Henry Cruse.

The school will now represent Cheltenham Town FC in the area final at Swindon Town FC in March. Good luck to the school!
