Reaction: Duff on Port Vale draw

Michael Duff believed his side deserved three points for their performance at Port Vale.

Antony Kay's stoppage time equaliser denied the Robins maximum points on the road at Vale Park, after Nigel Atangana had handed his team the lead with a minute to go of normal time.

Duff spoke to the media after the full time whistle and felt his charges deserved three points.

"I thought we deserved to win the game," Duff said. "I thought our goal in the last minute was a just goal. Their goalie got man of the match, I thought we created numerous chances and hurt them in every different way possible.

"It's just a disappointing way to concede. If they open us up or they score a worldie you can take that - but not from a set play.

"We've come to a team where it's absolutely blowing a gale, the pitch is horrible, and we footballed them off the park. Not just football where we pass it around the back."
