Preview: Duff on MK Dons

25 December 2018

Michael Duff is anticipating a challenge that will allow the Robins to see how far they’ve come when MK Dons are the visitors to the Jonny-Rocks Stadium on Boxing Day.

In what will be the second meeting between the two clubs this season, the Robins welcome an MK side who are flying at the top end of Sky Bet League Two.

The last time the two clubs met was back in early October and Duff is looking forward to an entertaining contest.

“I think they’ve got better since then and I think we’ve got better since then,” he said. “It will be a good test for us.

“The two teams we have lost to in this little run we’ve been on are Bury away and Accrington away – so two good teams.

“It could be a benchmark to see how far we’ve come and how far we’ve still got to go so it will be a tough game because they are in the top two quite comfortably.

“They look to play football in a similar sort of formation to us so hopefully it’ll be a good game.”

Kick-off on Boxing Day is at 3pm. Tickets are available to buy in advance online here or at the turnstiles.
