27 December 2018

Olly Price was the Westfields goal scoring hero in their Boxing Day seven goal thriller against Wolverhampton Community Sporting.

The under-18s youngster came off the bench and helped his loan club move up to second in the Total Motion Midland Premier Division with a late winner in a 4-3 win at Pride Park.

Elsewhere in the National League South Tom Smith and Matt Bower both started for Bath City and Weston-super-Mare in their derby draws with Chippenham Town and Gloucester City.

In the National League North George Lloyd and Liam McAlinden both started in Hereford and Brackley’s fixtures. Lloyd was part of a Bulls side that defeated Kidderminster Harriers 1-0, while McAlinden featured for 59 minutes in Brackley’s 2-2 draw with Leamington.

Josh Debayo’s thigh injury ruled him out of Dover’s Boxing Day game, while Manny Duku didn’t feature for Barnet against Boreham Wood.

Under-18s defender Ioan Richards made his second appearance for Slimbridge and played 70 minutes in a 3-3 draw with Bristol Manor Farm.

Grant Horton meanwhile played the full game for Worcester City as they suffered a late loss at Southport Swifts, with Aaron Basford featuring as a substitute in the second half in the same game for Worcester.
