Loan watch: FA Trophy goals for duo

Many of the Robins squad currently out on loan were in FA Trophy first round proper action at the weekend, with Manny Duku and George Lloyd both finding the net for their respective teams.

Duku struck an early goal for Barnet in their 3-2 win over a Bath City side that included Tom Smith in their squad.

Lloyd meanwhile scored the winner for Hereford as they progressed to the second round with a 2-1 win at Edgar Street over Billericay Town.

Liam McAlinden made his Brackley Town debut after agreeing a one-month loan and was in the starting XI for their victory over Hayes & Yeading United.

Matt Bower started in Weston-super-Mare’s loss at Truro City in the same competition, while Josh Debayo still remains out of action for Dover Athletic after their draw with Havant & Waterlooville.

From the Academy youngsters out on loan this weekend, Grant Horton featured for Worcester City in their Total Motion Midland Premier League draw with Wolverhampton Sporting Community.

Olly Price's debut for Westfields saw him come on as a substitute and claim an assist in a 2-1 home loss to Boldmere St Michaels.

Will Dawes started in Tuffley Rovers 3-1 Hellenic Premier Division home defeat to Royal Wootton Bassett Town. In the same division Tom Handley was a part of the Lydney Town side who were 3-0 up against league leaders Brackley Town Saints, only to see the match abandoned.
