Cheltenham Town Community Trust are recruiting young players between the ages of 16 and 18-years-old to become part of the Futsal and Education Scholarship Programme.
Students will enroll on a two-year full time education programme, studying Level 3 BTEC in Sport (Equivalent to 3 A Levels), whilst competing in a National Futsal League representing Cheltenham Town Football Club.
The Community Trust is established as one of the top schemes in the Football League Trust Education and Futsal Programme.
The Futsal and Education Scholarship Programme delivers a first class full-time education programme alongside professional Futsal coaching. The Scholars study at the football club and play competitive Futsal fixtures against other professional football clubs. All students are guaranteed to play in the match at every fixtures.
The programme aims to provide 16-18 year olds with the underpinning knowledge and expertise in the field of sport, for students with aspirations to have a career in sport, sports coaching, P.E. training, Physiotherapy, Sports Management or Sports Science.

-55% Achieve triples A* grades
-50% Went on to higher educations

The combination of focused classroom based learning, alongside FA qualified Futsal coaching and games is enjoyed by all our students."
The players will follow the same coaching patterns as the other Cheltenham Town Football Club Scholars, with a typical weekly schedule consisting of two training sessions, 12 hours of education and a fortnightly fixture in the Futsal National Youth League, as well as receiving full club kit.
