Fans of Love Island are set for a treat with Chris Hughes ready to lace up his boots for a charity jockeys match at the LCI Rail Stadium on Wednesday evening (kick-off 7.30pm).
Hughes is best known for finishing third on the 2017 series of Love Island, also topping the iTunes chart with the single ‘Little Bit Leave It’ after leaving the island. C
He is also a big racing supporter and will soon be competing in a celebrity event.
The charity match between the jockeys – starring Sir AP McCoy - and the legends of Cheltenham Town FC is taking place at the home of the Robins for the second year.
The 20 times champion and his team of jockeys took on the legends at the LCI Rail Stadium last April, after a day's racing in the town. The match was in aid of the Injured Jockeys' Fund and raised a staggering £25,000!
Last season the Cheltenham Legends won 3-2 – who will come out victorious this season?
Tickets are now on sale NOW for this year's match, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions and under-16s.
