Champion effort as Andy completes charity walk

16 April 2018

Congratulations to Robins supporter Andy Champion who successfully walked from Forest Green Rovers to Cheltenham Town all in aid of Prostate Cancer UK before the derby game.

Andy Champion was diagnosed with prostate cancer in April 2017. Fortunately, it was caught early enough for him to have surgery and now he is determined to raise awareness and funds to fight the cancer.

He laced up his walking boots and hit the road with supporters to make the 27 mile journey between The New Lawn to the LCI Rail Stadium – arriving at the home of the Robins at 2.20pm on matchday!

His amazing feat has so far raised an incredible £2,358.43 for Prostate Cancer UK.
