Stevenage programme: Deadline day, Dawson's double, #OurTown and Cotterill's flyer in 1997

1 September 2017

This week's edition of The Robin sees both manager Gary Johnson and chairman Paul Baker speak candidly about the transfer window.

Both reveal what it is like in the days leading up to the window closing and give their opinions on whether it should be shut before the start of the season.

Kevin Dawson is this week's cover star, talking about his full debut double and how the squad are doubly determined "to get it right."

The look back at the 1997/98 season chronicles the start of a superb unbeaten run in the league, as well as kick-off in the FA Cup.

There is also a look back in to the Robins' history in the world's most famous Cup competition - which until 1997/98 was far from success-filled.

There is also the latest from the Robins Ladies, the Robins Trust, Community Trust and Academy.

Issue 5 of The Robin is available from all four corners of the ground for £3.
