Robins TV: Mixed emotions for Moore after stalemate

9 September 2017

Defender Taylor Moore admitted he had mixed emotions as Cheltenham Town drew 0-0 with Yeovil Town in the Sky Bet League Two at Huish Park.

The Robins dominated the clash for long periods and saw a first half strike from Mo Eisa come back off the post.

And Moore – who was part of a solid back line in Somerset – acknowledged while it was a strong display from Cheltenham there was disappointment not to take all three points.

“Since I have been at the club we have had good performances. Especially in the first half today when we came out of the blocks really well and started brightly,” he said.

“It’s a bit frustrating, but it was a very good performance and a clean sheet.

“I am happy learning, that is why I am here,” he added. “I am learning as much as possible, as quickly as possible. You are never satisfied and want to learn.

“It’s mixed emotions today. We kept the ball well in possession, we were solid at the back.

“But there is that frustrating because we are getting into good areas, getting in the final third.

"The Yeovil keeper pulled off four or five brilliant saves and on another day we win.”
