Loan star Freddie Hinds admits he is determined to take his opportunity to shine at Cheltenham Town.
Hinds joined the Robins in loan alongside Bristol City team-mates Joe Morrell and Taylor Moore last month.
He has already made five appearances at his new club and is eager to push his claims further when Gary Johnson’s men travel to Chesterfield at the Proact Stadium on Saturday in Sky Bet League Two (kick-off 3pm).
Hinds said: “The strikers here have all done well, the last few games especially. I have just got to wait for my time and hopefully I will take my chance if I get on the pitch towards the end.
“We were putting in good performances recently and just couldn’t get the result. It was just doing something in the final third. Now it seems to have worked so I am happy for the team.
“Against Accrington the goalkeeper pulled off a great save against me and I had a chance against Yeovil too. I am getting little chances and I am hoping to put one away soon.”
Hinds is also delighted to witness his fellow loan signings – Moore and Morrell - play so well, adding: “Seeing them do well helps me want to do well. They are two great lads who fully deserve it and are doing really well.
“I’m buzzing for Joe scoring his first goal the other night and I’m taking an assist - I told him to start shooting more!”
