A look at Tuesday's opponents

Tuesday sees us make the trip down to Devon to take on Exeter City in another tough League Two game.

The Grecians currently occupy the final play off spot as they sit in seventh place, but they have lost their last two games and have only won twice since the start of February.

Overall they have accumulated 54 points from their 36 games so far this season, winning 16, drawing 6 and losing 14.

They are managed by Paul Tisdale, who is the second longest serving manager in the Football League behind Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger.

He’s been in charge since June 2006 and has guided Exeter to promotion twice, as they won the National League play offs in 2008 and were runners up in League Two in 2009.

They finished 14th last campaign and have been playing in English football’s fourth tier for five seasons since their relegation from League One in 2012.

Exeter currently have Ollie Watkins and David Wheeler as their joint top scorers on 13 league goals each, with former Plymouth man Reuben Reid a few back on seven.

We have already faced them once already this season, as The Grecians came out 3-1 winners at The LCI Rail Stadium back in December.

Overall we’ve played against Exeter 13 times since 1999, winning the first nine encounters, then drawing one before losing the last three.
