Winger Adam Page has today signed a new one year contract with the club.
"Pagey" joined the club in 2013 as part of our BTEC programme where he impressed so much that Gary Johnson gave him his first professional contract in 2015.
After a promising loan spell at Hereford, Adam's last 18 months have been hampered by injuries but he made his return to football in April of this year, playing for our reserves in the Central League.
Speakng after signing his new deal, Page said, "I'm obviously delighted to be given another year to prove myslef. I want to make up for the last couple of years and get back playing.
"I am very grateful to the Gaffer, Russ, the medical team and the whole club who have kept me here when they didn't need to and still believed in me, I really want to repay them now."
Looking ahead to the coming season, Page commented, "My aim is to try and break into the first team as well as just getting as many games in as possible. Pre-season will be massive for me. I need to get back right, prove my fitness and see where it goes from there."
Adam could be involved in our first pre-season game at Oxford City on July 11th, take a look at our full list of friendlies here.
Don't forget, the 2017/18 fixture list is released tomorrow morning here on ctfc.com so make sure you could back and find out!
