Robins wait on Moore injury news

14 December 2017

Manager Gary Johnson has revealed Cheltenham Town are waiting on a specialist report into the knee injury suffered by Taylor Moore – but hopes that midfielder Kyle Storer will return to face Coventry this weekend.

Moore, on-loan from Bristol City, was injured in the final minutes of the home clash with Crewe and has been scanned this week.

Johnson said: “We are not sure about Taylor Moore yet. He feels fine but we are waiting on a specialist to look at the scan, which we always do as a pre-caution with injuries. We are waiting on the results, but Taylor feels fine in himself.

“Stoz (Kyle Storer) would have to have two broken legs not to be involved in this game. It is right on his doorstep at home and I think he already has 40 tickets for the game!

“He will have strong following and I’m sure he will be available for that game.”
