Cheltenham Town return to home soil to face Yeovil Town on Boxing Day (kick-off 3pm) in the first part of a festive double header at the LCI Rail Stadium.
Gary Johnson’s men - who also face Newport on December 30 - moved to 14th in the table at the weekend with a convincing 2-0 win over Barnet, courtesy of goals from Kevin Dawson and Carl Winchester.
Yeovil were also among the goals with an impressive 3-1 win over Exeter that took them to 19th place – six points behind the Robins.
The teams drew 0-0 at Huish Park when they met earlier in the season.
The Opposition:
Yeovil Town opened their festive period in style with an emphatic 3-1 victory over Exeter City at Huish Park – that means they are now unbeaten in three games in all competitions.
Jake Gray and Francois Zoko put Yeovil two goals up before Jayden Stockley finished from close range to give the visitors hope five minutes from time.
But Yeovil responded and made the game safe two minutes later when Sam Surridge scored from the penalty spot.
Assistant Manager Terry Skiverton said: “There was a real special sort of atmosphere. Everything seemed connected. The players felt that and we spoke about it after the game.
“The fans were right behind us, I heard drums and loads of positivity from the sidelines and the players felt that."
Team News:
Cheltenham team news: Gary Johnson will monitor the fitness of Jerell Sellars while Brian Graham could return after being named on the bench in London for the clash with Barnet. George Lloyd remains an injury doubt (hip flexor). Jordan Cranston, Jaanai Gordon and Jordon Forster remain long-term injury absentees.
Yeovil team news: The Glovers could again be missing the likes of Oscar Gobern (hamstring), Rhys Browne (ankle) and Dan Alfei (knee).
The man in the middle:
Referee Christopher Sarginson – who has taken charge of 24 games this season and handed out 78 yellow cards and five red cards - will take charge of the league clash at the LCI Rail Stadium. He previously referred Cheltenham's home clash with Lincoln City in October. He will be assisted by Craig Taylor, Ian Rathbone and fourth official Thomas Harty.
