Cheltenham Town face Coventry City for the first time in the club’s history when the two teams meet at the Ricoh Arena on Saturday afternoon in Sky Bet League Two (kick-off 3pm).
The Robins are unbeaten in three league games, after defeating Crewe Alexandra 1-0 at the LCI Rail Stadium last weekend to climb to 15th place in the standings.
Coventry are currently five points ahead of Cheltenham in the final play-off spot in seventh place in Sky Bet League Two.
However, Mark Robins men have not won in the last three games and suffered a 2-0 loss to Morecambe last weekend.
The Opposition:
Coventry City boss Mark Robins will be looking for a reaction from his players after what he described as an "embarrassing" and "horrendous" showing at Morecambe last weekend.
"That was men against boys from start to finish," said Robins after the defeat. "It is very difficult to come to terms with and the players certainly know how I feel.
"That showing was nowhere near a side who deserve to be anywhere near the top end of the league.
"No real know-how and no real fight. There were some youngsters in there but that is no excuse. We looked lacklustre.”
Team News:
Cheltenham team news: The Robins are awaiting the result of tests on a knee injury suffered by Taylor Moore in the win over Crewe. Brian Graham and Kyle Storer will hope to return while Jordan Cranston, Jaanai Gordon and Jordon Forster remain long-term injury casualties.
Coventry team news: Coventry will be without key midfielder Liam Kelly for the fourth game running as Cheltenham visit the Ricoh Arena. The former Leyton Orient skipper, who joined the Sky Blues in the summer, is nursing a badly bruised heel. Long term absentees are star player Jodi Jones and creative midfielder Tony Andreu - both of whom are out for the season with cruciate knee ligament injuries.
The man in the middle:
Referee David Webb – who has taken charge of 20 games this season and handed out 48 yellow cards and two red cards - will take charge of the league clash at the Ricoh Arena. He will be assisted by Mark Griffiths, Paul Graham and fourth official Abbas Khan.
