Goalkeeper Flatt to return to Wolves

28 December 2017

Goalkeeper Jon Flatt is to officially return to Wolverhampton Wanderers on January 1 after he was recalled by the Sky Bet Championship club from his loan spell at the Robins.

Flatt, 23, made seven appearances this season for Cheltenham in a second loan at the club.

The shot-stopper was previously at the LCI Rail Stadium at the end of the 2015/2016, when he made ten appearances in all competitions.

Manager Gary Johnson said: “We thank Jon for his time at the club and the professionalism he has once again shown in the first half of this season.

“On behalf of the club, I would like to wish him all the best for his future career now that Wolves have officially recalled him.

“We now have Scott Flinders as our established number one goalkeeper at the club and also Rhys Lovett, an exciting young talent who is keen to show his worth and continue his development.”
