A look at Friday's opponents

This Friday sees us travel to Crawley’s Broadfield Stadium in the first of two Easter weekend matches.

The Red Devils currently sit 18th in the League Two table, three places and five points above us, and have won just two of their last 10 games.

In total they have played 41 matches, winning 13, drawing nine and losing 19, leaving them with 48 points and a -15 goal difference.

They are managed by Dermot Drummy, who took the reigns back in April 2016 after three years in charge of Chelsea’s reserves.

He replaced former Cheltenham manager Mark Yates, and guided Crawley to a 20th placed finish last campaign - their lowest since being promoted into the Football League in 2011.

Their top scorer is former Shrewsbury, Swindon and Northampton front man James Collins, who has managed to hit the back of the net 18 times so far.

We have already played them once this season, back in October, as goals from Billy Waters and Jack Munns helped us along to a 2-1 win at the LCI Rail Stadium.

Overall we’ve only faced each other a handful of times in recent years, as we’ve won three and lost one of our four matches against them since 2011.

Hopefully we’ll be able to keep that good record going this weekend, as a win could move us within two points of Crawley and as many as seven points clear of the relegation zone if results go our way.
