Gloucester City friendly confirmed

27 May 2016

Saturday 23rd July

Cheltenham Town will take on local rivals Gloucester City in a pre-season friendly at Whaddon Road on Saturday 23rd July.

Kicking off at 3pm, the match is officially a Gloucester home game.

Both teams of course play their home matches at Whaddon Road, although as Chairman Paul Baker confirmed earlier this year, the 2016-17 season will be the last year of co-habitation.

Tim Harris' Gloucester side avoided relegation last season in the National League North whilst Gary Johnson's Cheltenham team were crowned Champions of the National League.

We will have more information on tickets nearer the time but make sure you keep the date free and come along to support the Robins' as they prepare for life back in the League Two.
