To be signed next week
The club is thrilled to announce that Jack Munns, Billy Waters, James Rowe, Jack Barthram & James Dayton have all agreed deals to remain with the National League champions!They will sign their contract extensions with the club next week, taking the number of players to have re-signed to ten.
Rowe, Dayton, Waters & Bathram all have experience playing in the football league but this will be Young Player of the Year Jack Munns' first taste of League Two action.
Robins boss Gary Johnson commented, "I was very pleased with all of their development over the season. There is still some development needed and more experience to be gained but they deserve their new contracts as I'm sure they will handle the next level comfortably. The four that have played in it before deserved the chance to prove themselves in the football league again and Munnsy definitely deserves a crack at it."
In addition to these agreements, Amari Morgan-Smith and Aaron Downes have also agreed deals, however these won't kick in until Johnson is satisfied they are ready following a rigorous close season fitness regime to test their injuries.
Youngster Jordan Lymn has also agreed to sign his first professional contract when his current youth contract runs out in July.
Bobbie Dale and Adam Page are also recovering from long term injuries and will go through similar close season programmes. They will then be assessed during pre-season.
