Club statementCheltenham Town midfielder Kyle Storer appeared before a Football Association Regulatory Commission at a hearing in London earlier today.
Kyle was charged with violent conduct in relation to an incident during the final match of last season against Lincoln City. He pleaded guilty to the charge but asked for a personal hearing, which took place this morning.
Following the hearing, the Regulatory Commision imposed a suspension of eight matches and a £1,000 fine, which will become effective from the opening League match of the 2016-17 season.
The club is awaiting the written report from the FA before considering any further course of action.
