PREVIEW: Looking at the Johnson Cup game against Bristol City!

24 July 2016

Sunday 24th July

This Monday sees us take on Lee Johnson’s Bristol City in the famous Johnson Cup!

The game takes place at Whaddon Road and kicks off at 7.45pm with ticket prices being £10 for Adults and £5 for everybody else. Keep an eye out on social media for clarification on which stands will be open for the fixture.

Gary Johnson is the current holder of the Johnson Cup and said on Saturday: “There’s an actual cup, and it’s on my mantelpiece at the moment.

“I’ve been on the phone to the chairman and asked for £25 million to spend, but he hasn’t got back to me yet!”

It’s the last home friendly before the start of the new season, and supporters will be able to buy the new home shirt and the ‘Champions’ DVD in the club shop before the game.

Adult shirts are priced at £40, and juniors £30. The DVD is available for £20 and has been selling fast, so if you haven’t got a copy then make sure you do so you don’t miss out.

Your support in our friendly matches so far has been fantastic, so come on down and support The Champions on Monday night!
