Adam Page suffers serious knee injury

7 July 2016

ACL & MCL rupture

Cheltenham Town midfielder Adam Page has sadly suffered a serious knee injury in training and is set for a long stint on the sidelines.

The 19 year old, a graduate of our Btech Development programme, has ruptured his Anterior Cruciate Ligamate and Medial Collateral Ligament having recently recovered from a foot injury.

Commenting on the confirmation of his injury Adam said, " Obviously I am disappointed but I am going to work really hard and will come back stronger."

Robins boss Gary Johnson added, " It's a big blow, both for the club and for Pagey as he had been looking good in pre-season training. We will look after him and I'm sure he has a very bright future in the game!"

Adam's recovery time is still unknown but he will continue to receive treatment at the club and will discuss future steps with a consultant.
