The game sprung into life minutes after the restart. James Rowe's corner was handled in the box and Wright, who missed his last spot kick, stepped up and duly converted. Just six minutes later the lead was doubled, the influential Rowe crossed from the left and Holman's flicked header found the bottom corner.

The second half was largely like the first, a scrappy game on a pitch that didn't suit Cheltenam's usual slick passing style. There were no chances of note although Kidderminster began to threaten.
