Downes happy with defensive efforts
Robins' Captain Aaron Downes is pleased with how his side are performing at the half-way stage of the National League season.With 23 games played, Cheltenham have picked up 47 points and sit one point clear of Forest Green Rovers at the top of the table.
Downes in particular is delighted with his team's defensive record. As things stand they have 10 clean sheets and have the best goals against record in the division, conceding just 17 in 23 matches.
