Nigel Adkins' Blades visit Whaddon Road
League One Sheffield United visit Whaddon Road on Tuesday night for Cheltenham Town's first home pre-season friendly.Trialist defender Danny Parslow will once again feature, but Joe Hanks and Lee Vaughan will sit out with ankle and hamstring injuries respectively.
Asa Hall came through Saturday's match with no ill effects and is set to play another half an hour, while Jordan Wynter will be among the substitutes as he works his way back from a knee ligament injury.
Boss Gary Johnson plans to give the majority if his team 60 minutes, with three or four set to play their first 90 minutes of the summer.
Cheltenham have so far beaten Cirencester Town (3-0), Evesham United (7-3) and Weston-super-Mare (3-0) in their warm-up games.
Johnson said: "Sheffield United are a force in League One every season and with Nigel Adkins now in charge I think this could be their year.
"This will obviously be our sternest test so far and I am looking forward to seeing where we are. They will be organised and will want to play football, so we have to play our part in what should be an entertaining fixture for the crowd."
Cheltenham last faced Sheffield United in a competitive game in 2003. The Blades were 4-0 winners at Bramall Lane in the FA Cup third round.
Paul Brayson scored twice to earn the Robins a 2-2 draw against United at Whaddon Road in a friendly ahead of the 2003/04 campaign.
Tuesday's match gets underway at 7.45pm and both sides of the ground will be open for home fans, with visiting fans housed in Hazlewoods Stand.
