VIDEO: We will turn things around, says Kane Ferdinand

2 January 2015

Kane Ferdinand is confident Cheltenham Town are close to turning around their results as they kick off 2015 at Oxford United on Saturday.

The Peterborough United an extend his loan spell with the Robins until the end of last season and having been moved into the centre of midfield by boss Paul Buckle, he is starting to show his undoubted ability.

“I have been enjoying my time here and while it’s not gone according to plan in terms of results, I am sure the wins will come so I am happy to be here until the end of the season,” Ferdinand said.

“There have been a lot of positives from recent performances and once we get the little bits right, cutting out the mistakes, I am sure we’ll turn things around.”

Ferdinand has played wide, but it is in the middle that he feels most comfortable and he is looking forward to a run in the side there.

“I feel more comfortable in the middle and while I don’t mind playing wide, I am happy in the middle,” he said.

“Everyone needs to give that little bit more to pick up results and I am sure we can go on a run.”
