He trained regularly with Luis Suarez during the Uruguayan's time at Anfield and currently benefits from the guidance of ex-Reds and Liverpool star Robbie Fowler.
The 20-year-old's next challenge is to continue his blistering start to an initial one month loan spell with Cheltenham Town, having netted on his debut in Saturday's 2-1 win at Oxford United.Â
"I've trained a lot with Suarez, who is one of the world’s best, but this is a different type of challenge for me now," Dunn said.Â
"It won’t be an impeccable pitch every week in League Two, but I have to work with it. I will have to chase down balls I won’t be expected to win, persist and hopefully it’ll work out for me.
"I couldn’t pick out one striker who I've based my game on, I just pick out qualities from all of them and make myself the best I can be.
"Robbie Fowler trains with us and gives me wise words and that can only help me to become the best striker I can be."
Dunn started in attack with fellow scouser Terry Gornell at the Kassam Stadium and he hopes it can be the start of a fruitful partnership.
"Terry held the ball up well and I was able to spin in behind, so hopefully we can build on that start we've made together," Dunn said.
