Cheltenham Town’s first deadline day signing is Birmingham City forward Denny Johnstone, who has arrived on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old Scottish youth international started his career at Celtic before joining the Blues for £100,000 in the summer of 2014.
He has been on loan at Conference club Macclesfield since November 27, but has left Moss Rose to join the League Two Robins.
Boss Paul Buckle said: “He has been playing regularly for Macclesfield which is important and he’s been doing very well for them.
“He is powerful and he’ll give us more options in our style of play. He is aggressive, he is a winner and he is someone serious about his career.
“For him to leave Macclesfield who are second in the league to come here is good and he wants to help us push up the league.”
