Loan moves for young Cheltenham Town duo

5 February 2015

Cheltenham Town youngsters Bobbie Dale and James Bowen have joined Cinderford Town for an initial month's loan.

Worcester-based striker Dale, 19, has made two substitute appearances for the first team, most recently in the 1-0 home defeat by Newport County in December. He signed a one year professional contract last summer.

Dale has enjoyed previous loan spells with Bishop's Cleeve, Bath City and Cirencester Town.

Left-back Bowen was handed his senior debut at Stevenage in November and has since made one further appearance from the bench under Paul Buckle, going on in the 1-1 home draw against Morecambe.

Bowen celebrated his 19th birthday on Wednesday and has already experienced football at Cinderford's level with Evesham United.

Both players are due to train with Cinderford on Thursday night and will go into boss John Brough's Foresters squad to face Taunton Town at home on Saturday.

Cinderford currently lie 12th in Southern League Division One South and West.
