Seven squad members to leave the club

9 December 2015

Contracts will not be extended

Cheltenham Town have today notified seven players that their contracts will not be renewed at the end of this season.

The club will work closely with these players to find them a new club and have made these decisions early to give the players the maximum opportunity to find a club before the end of the season when there will be thousands of players in the same position competing for contracts.

The players are:

Omari Sterling-James
Jack Deaman
Zack Kotwica
Joe Hanks
James Bowen
Jordan Wynter
Harry Williams

Manager Gary Johnson commented, " It's a hard decision to make about any player but we are looking to do what is right, not only for the club but also them as individuals so have made the decision now to give them the best possible chance of finding a club".

The players will continue to train at the club until their contract expires or they find a new club.
