Johnson adds another attacking option
Young striker Josh Cooke has joined Cheltenham Town on loan from League One club Swindon Town.The deal is until January, but his parent club will have the option of a recall after the initial 28 days.
Cooke was on the bench for Swindon on Saturday as they defeated Bradford City 4-1 at the County Ground.
The 18-year-old has made two appearances in League One, with one start and another as a substitute. He also spent time on loan at Staines Town in National League South.
Cooke trained with Cheltenham on Monday morning. He has been handed squad number 27 and will go straight into the squad to face Aldershot Town at the World of Smile Stadium on Tuesday night...and yes, the paperwork has been signed!
