Gavin worked in the Robins' academy set-up before switching to Aggborough in 2009.Â
He then moved to Bristol Rovers following their promotion to the Football League, but he has now returned to Cheltenham to lead the medical department.
Gavin will work with Joe Baker at Lincoln City on Saturday before Joe leaves the club next week.Â
