Mark Yates and Trevor Carson have been shortlisted for the Sky Bet League 2 manager and player of the month awards respectively.Both will find out whether they have been successful on Friday 5 September.
Mark is up against Jim Bentley (Morecambe), Micky Mellon (Shrewsbury Town) and Gary Rowett (Burton Albion) in the Sky Bet League 2 manager of the month category having led the Robins to 13 points from a possible 15 in August.
Trevor Carson, a new signing here at Whaddon Road, has kept three clean sheets in the month of August and has collected one assist as well with Koby Arthur's winner at home to Accrington Stanley. He is up against Kevin Ellison (Morecambe), Peter Murphy (Wycombe Wanderers) and Matt Tubbs (AFC Wimbledon).
The judging panel is chaired by former Football League manager Dave Bassett with Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
