TheRobins remain without victory in six games after being held to a 1-1 draw by AFC Wimbledon.The afternoon had started perfectly for Mark Yates' side with Matt Taylor capitalising on a goalkeeper error and prodding home his first goal for the club after just eight minutes. John Marquis and Byron Harrison had a number of chances to extend that lead but they failed to do so and AFC Wimbledon soon had the scores level through Adam Barrett's finished minutes before half-time.
Cheltenham rarely reached the standards they had shown in the first half and AFC Wimbledon had little to contend with from a defensive point of view. Adebayo Akinfenwa really should have got a goal but the crossbar denied him on one occasion and he also pulled an excellent opportunity wide of goal to confirm a share of the spoils for both teams.
