Prices slashed for visit of leaders Wycombe

3 November 2014

Cheltenham Town have taken the decision to slash the price of terrace tickets for the visit of Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, November 22 (3pm).

It will cost only £10 for adults and £5 for concessions, with seated tickets subject to normal prices.

Chairman Paul Baker said: "We are conscious that there are a lot of home games in November so we are slashing terrace prices.

"It's a £6 saving for adults, so we are trying to show we are listening to the fans, some of whom were not happy with the prices for the Swindon FA Cup tie.

"Hopefully this can bring some supporters back who are currently missing. People may ask why we are not doing it with seats, but we have to be very careful.

"This exercise alone is going to cost us in the region of £2,000, so it's an experiment and if it works, we can look at doing it again."

Gareth Ainsworth's Wycombe side are currently top of the table and they will include former Robins star Sido Jombati, who signed for the Chairboys last summer after three years at Whaddon Road.
